Meet the Committee!

With a large group of members, the Mental Health Committee is comprised of a wide range of students from various class years, majors, and backgrounds. Meet the committee members of the 2023 - 2024 academic year below!

Co-Chairs

  • Jazz Grindle (she/her)

Hello! I have been a member of MHC since my second semester at BU, and I feel so incredibly lucky to now serve as one of the Co-Chairs besides Jess. I love getting to be a part of this community where we try to de-stigmatize mental health and overall try to make campus a better place, and am so proud of the work we have done. Outside of student government, I am a political science major and a Deaf studies minor. I also have my creative side though, and love to dance, listen to music, or crochet! If you ever want to reach out to me you can always send an email (jgrindle@bu.edu) and I’d be happy to chat! Stay hydrated!

  • Jessica Sullivan (she/her)

Hello! I have been a part of MHC for two years now and I am excited and honored to be one of the co-chairs for this upcoming year. I am passionate about mental health advocacy and awareness, and I am so proud of the impact this committee has had on campus. Outside of MHC, I am a junior majoring in psychology with a minor in Deaf studies. I love to cook, draw, and play guitar, and I can often be found in the library or the GSU. Please feel free to say hi or reach out at any time (jsullivn@bu.edu), I’d love to talk with you!
